EApp is Now Easier to Use

Using e-Applications on Athene Connect is already the simplest, most efficient way to submit your Athene business. Starting January 14, it gets even easier. Your e-Applications, previously delivered through a “FireLight Forms” interface will now be delivered through “FireLight Wizard.” This will provide a simple and more streamlined experience when submitting applications.

Key Information

  • Previously created “FireLight Forms” applications will still be available on your Home Page and in your All Activities list and can continue to be submitted until 11:59 p.m. CST April 21.
  • Any incomplete “FireLight Forms” applications will no longer be available for editing or submission after 11:59 p.m. CST April 21. Beginning April 22, a new “FireLight Wizard” application will be required.
  • You may wish to Copy with Changes any applications created with the “FireLight Forms” and create with the “FireLight Wizard” to retain information past April 21. 

What’s Different

“FireLight Wizard” provides a seamless, more visually appealing Order Entry Process that steps you through a series of questions while providing prompts and helpful information along the way. It helps avoid duplicate data entry and allows you to walk through an Annuity Application with minimal to no missing required information. The new experience shows what you need to complete based on your previous answers and enters the data into forms for review once complete.

The new format provides additional advantages, such as:

  • Mobile friendly – can be used on both PC and tablets if meeting with clients and don’t have a full laptop available.
  • Simpler – breaks down complex processes into smaller easier pieces to digest. Easier to navigate and understand for fewer mistakes.
  • Faster – shows relevant information to the case and allows for faster data entry.
