NIW/Kai-Zen: National Life Cap Change Alert for Tranche 42

Tranche 42 will be the last tranche that will be funded in 2021.  So, if you are looking to place your National Life/LSW Kai-Zen or ESD cases and want to maintain the current CAP rate,  National Life has given us until November 30 to have the policies funded and in force,  as an exception.  

What that means to you?  You must have the case approved medically and financially by National Life/LSW and the first year contribution (and Step 3 paperwork if non-ILIA case) must be received by Kai-Zen/NIW by the November 1 deadline.  There will be no exceptions to the deadline since we are under a hard funding date.  This will allow us to maintain the current CAP rate for your case and not have to re-illustrate using the new CAP rate that was announced by National Life and goes into effect November 15. 

Any other cases that come in after November 1 will be moved to Tranche 43 which will be funding in January and illustrations will need to be redone to reflect the new CAP.
