Accelerated Death Benefit for Chronic Illness Agreement (ADB-CIA)
Offers cash indemnity benefits for clients who need life insurance and chronic illness protection. If a client becomes chronically ill, the ADB-CIA allows them to access some or all of their life insurance policy’s death benefit to use however they want.
- Available on all single-life universal life products
- Issue ages: 20-80 years old
- Chronic Illness Death Benefit amount: 10%-100% of the life insurance base face amount (not to exceed $5 million)
- Maximum monthly ADB-CIA benefit not limited to IRS per diem in California
- Choice of 24 or 48-month benefit
Chronic Illness Conversion Agreement (CICA)
Guarantees your client the right to add the ADB-CIA to a policy that offers that agreement without providing evidence of insurability at the time of conversion.
- Available on Advantage Elite Select Term policies
- Issue ages: 16-60 years old
- CICA amount: $100,000 – $5 million
- Must also have Extended Conversion Agreement in order to add CICA
