Important! Servicing Systems Update

In an effort to help make servicing your clients as convenient as possible, we’re making changes to how you and your clients access annuity contract and life insurance policy information. Starting in July, we will be retiring eService Center (eSC) and the Securian Financial Mobile App. We will migrate certain views and capabilities from eSC to MyAccount and/or Book of Business over the next several months. We realize that these changes may result in some challenges for a period of time, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we build a better experience for you and your clients.

Here’s what to expect and when:

  • Mid-July 2024: The eService Center will be retired for annuities. Annuity contract management features will move from eService Center to Book of Business. The purpose of this is two-fold – not only do we want to provide a more seamless user experience for you and your clients, but we are also upgrading the technology to improve performance and ensure we can continue protecting customer data by running our systems safely and securely.
  • July 31, 2024: The Securian Financial Mobile App for clients will be retired for annuities and life insurance. Clients will continue to have access to their contracts on our My Account website but will no longer have access through our mobile application.

Please see table below for a more detailed feature by feature explanation of what’s changing and when.

    • Beneficiary changes are targeted to transition from eSC to My Account in September 2024. (Beneficiary changes will not be available in the eSC after the transition)
  • With regard to annuities, financial professionals will be able to access and service annuity contracts through Book of Business on our financial professional website instead of accessing contracts through the eSC.
  • Note that some features that are available for annuities on the eSC will be temporarily unavailable for annuities in Book of Business:
    • Variable Financial Transactions such as rebalance, transfer and allocations changes will not be available by mid-July. Continued efforts are being made to have these transactions available no later than the end of Q1 2025. • Annuity transaction history is expected to be available in 3rd quarter 2024.
