Non-Contracted Producers can Now Submit Life & DI Business in iGO While Contracting is in Process
Our priority is to continuously make it easier to do business with MMSD. That is why we are excited to announce that effective immediately, non-contracted producers can now submit their first Life and DI case in the iGO iPipeline submission tool before their onboarding is complete with MMSD!
This means producers will be allowed to have an e-signature experience and have their contracting process take place while their case is simultaneously being reviewed by MMSD New Business & Underwriting.
Note: Non-contracted producers will be presented with an additional attestation page where they will attest to potentially needing new paperwork signed if licensing was not in good order at time of signing.
Available resources
To assist with entering a new MassMutual life application in the case set up screen, MMSD created videos with step-by-step instructions. Visit our Allego landing page for additional resources. A module for entering a DI application version will be available soon!
MassMutual has revised the Life and Hybrid Producers Statement and DI Producer Certificate
Also, effective immediately, the Producer’s Statement and Producer Certificate forms for Life, LTC-life, and DI business have been revised for new paper and iGO submissions. The new forms will now capture uniform, vital producer, agency/distributor, and producer-distributor relationship data across all versions.
In addition to the forms’ Producer Compensation information revisions:
- Producer Compensation Information moved from section B to C.
- Agency Contact moved from section C to A.
- The CareChoice Series Producer’s Statement and DI Producer’s Certificate section D will now require an email address for the soliciting producer.
When to use the new forms:
- A1AGE 0323 for life insurance new business applications except in California; must be completed and signed by the soliciting producer.
- A1AGE-0116 v.2 for life insurance new business applications in California; must be completed and signed by the soliciting producer. (California will use A1AGE 0323 when the latest A2000CA version is approved.)
