As with every other year, 2023 brought along a unique set of challenges which we all had to overcome together. But despite this challenging environment, we accomplished many great things, including upholding our mission: to protect our customers. 

Let’s take a moment to review some major achievements in 2023:

• Insured over 47,425 individuals.
• Brought in $ 215.4 million in life premium.
• Paid 75,346 individual life claims.

These are more than just numbers – they represent the families we have helped protect. Because of your dedication and hard work, these families can now rest assured they are protected in case the unexpected were to happen.

As I reflect on this, I want to personally thank you for your support last year, for your business and, most importantly, for the wonderful things you did to help us serve those families. Our partnership saw exciting launches in 2023, including a continued focus on improving processes and reducing cycle times:

• Launched Instant Issue Velocity new business capabilities.
• Launched the Velocity Customer Portal.
• Made several product changes to maintain competitiveness, including the launch of Protective Indexed Choice^SM UL in New York.

Seeing the hard work and accomplishments we’ve made this past year makes me excited about what we can do in 2024. Keep these achievements in mind in the new year and identify ways to actively aspire for better. Thank you!
