Velocity Instant Issue

If your applicant is approved with our accelerated underwriting, we can now issue the policy instantly if it meets the Velocity Instant Issue requirements. The in-force policy will be available to the applicant within 48 hours (about 2 days) via the Velocity Customer Portal, myaccount.protective.com.

Interview preparation checklist

The preparation checklist is now listed directly on the application’s page, right before the online interview. This will help applicants better understand the next steps and be more prepared for the interview.

Enhanced legal guardian access

Juvenile applications on Velocity now recognize that a legal guardian is completing the online Part II on the juvenile’s behalf. Legal documentation showing legal guardianship of minor child(ren) is required as part of the underwriting process and some submission platform exclusions apply.
