Protective Recognized by Newsweek for Best Customer Service
In its sixth edition of America’s Best Customer Service rankings, Protective tops the list in the Life Insurance subcategory, with a score of 91.89, which was three points higher than the second-ranked company. Across its rankings, the program recognizes 724 brands in 166 categories that go above and beyond to make their customers feel special.
Rankings are calculated through an independent survey of more than 30,000 U.S. customers who have either made purchases, used services or solicited more information about a product or service in the past three years. Customers evaluated several brands: in total over 200,000 evaluations were collected. The awarded brands each received on average 100 evaluations from customers.
The final assessment and rankings were based on the Likelihood of Recommendation (50% of the final score) and five weighted evaluation criteria (also 50% of the final score), which include Quality of Communication, Professional Competence, Range of Services, Customer Focus and Accessibility. The top 3-5 brands based on category size receiving the highest scores in each category were designated as America’s Best Customer Service companies.
