REMINDER Password Integrity

A follow up to our launch of multifactor authentication (MFA) in July of 2020 Like most of us, when accessing financial accounts online, you’re probably familiar with being prompted to receive a verification code via text to make sure you’re the right person accessing private financial information. For that same reason, last July we launched MFA on NorthAmericanCompany.com to enhance online security for you and your clients. 

Important reminders

  • Never share passwords or verification codes
  • If you are a licensed agent you can grant and manage access for your staff to access specific information on our website
  • If you are a staff member needing access you must work with the licensed agent to set up appropriate access, with your own password, and initiating your own verification code
  • Once you receive and input your own code you won’t be prompted again for 90 days

How to set up staff member access

  • Under the “My Business” tab on our website, click on “Access Entitlements”
  • Then just follow the menu; you can:
    • Create and edit staff
    • Create or edit individual staff access
    • Authorize individual or all staff
