LIAM: Focus on Hispanic and Latin Americans
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, let’s take a closer look at this burgeoning population.
The Hispanic or Latin population, which includes people of any race, was 63.7 million in July of 2022, making it the Nation’s largest racial/ethnic minority – 19.1% of the total population. Slightly more than half (51.1%) of the total U.S. population growth between 2010 and 2022 came from growth in the Hispanic or Latin population.
