New Lower Dental Rates in North Carolina and Florida Effective 06/1/22

The following rate decreases are effective June 1, 2022 for new and in force business in North Carolina.

• 10% decrease on the Mutual Dental Protection℠ Plan (DNT5)
• 0% adjustment on the Mutual Preferred Plan℠ (DNT2)

The following rate decreases are effective June 1, 2022 for new and in force business in Florida.

• 10% decrease on the Mutual Dental Protection℠ Plan (DNT5)
• 5% decrease on the Mutual Preferred Plan℠ (DNT2)

For any Mutual Dental Protection insurance policy written prior to 6/1/22 – the rate decreases will adjust (going forward) at the next premium renewal date. Also, don’t forget about our multi-policy discount. When a Mutual of Omaha dental insurance policy is written with a Mutual of Omaha or one of its affiliates Medicare supplement policy customers are eligible for a 15% discount on the dental insurance premium when:

• The dental application is signed on or after the Med supp application sign date, and
• Within 30 days after the Med supp issue date

Note: The multi-policy discount will be applied July 1, 2022 for in-force policyholders in North Carolina and Florida who would have met the criteria above at the original time of their dental insurance policy issue.
