Leveraging Case Monitoring for Long-Term Care
Case Monitoring is a useful tool for tracking updates on Long-Term Care (LTC) policies. It provides essential case details such as applicant demographics, policy numbers, premiums, benefits, case manager information, and outstanding or completed requirements.
Navigating Sales Professional Access (SPA):
To access Case Monitoring, log into SPA, go to the Producer Tools tab, and click on Case Monitoring under Reporting. You can search by Production Number or Policy Number to find specific case information. A PDF of the case details can be printed.
Case Monitoring Dashboard:
- Primary Insured: Displays policy information, including age, LTC policy number, risk class, and premium details.
- Additional Policy Information: Shows applicant details and coverage info, like riders and producer data.
- Outstanding Requirements: Lists missing LTC application requirements.
- Completed Requirements: Shows closed application requirements.
- Case Notes: Contains LTC case manager information and case trends.
Additional Tips:
- Missing LTC requirements must be received before policy issuance.
- Expect email responses from case managers within 24 hours.
- Send LTC requirements in PDF format only; other formats won’t be processed.
