Update For Doing Business in Washington

Effective 04/14/2023 the state of Washington will require all insurance producers to be pre-appointed in the state before any sales and will no longer permit any appointments to be backdated.

All agents currently contracted with Lafayette Life who have not previously sold business in Washington must confirm their Washington appointment with us prior to submitting their first piece of business in the state.

As of 03/20/2023 all newly contracted producers who reside in the state of Washington will be appointed there upon contracting.
