Licensing Reminder: New Regulation for California Agents

A new law, effective January 1, 2023, requires all agents licensed in California to include their insurance license number on emails. The law applies to every business-use email, whether transactional or for marketing purposes. The number needs to be at least the same size as the street address, email address, or telephone number listed, and it must appear adjacent to or on the line below the individual’s name or title.
