Based upon continued feedback we receive from our distribution partners, we’re rolling out new functionality to make you and your client’s application experience even better.
New Assigned Underwriter process
We’re excited to announce the Assigned Underwriter process. This process will:
- provide advisors with a dedicated underwriter who is familiar with the application from start to finish
- Underwriter assignment takes place once an application is signed by the client and needs are reviewed by an underwriter. For applications who previously did not have an assigned underwriter, the underwriter who takes the next action (such as ordering evidence or creating RTM/Amend) will be the Assigned Underwriter.
- increase efficiency in getting to a decision
- afford greater flexibility for underwriting leadership to allocate work to meet demands
Having an assigned underwriter enables fast, easy transactions which you have come to expect.
Application Manager – update to navigation section
Under the left navigation, Save Age & Policy Dates are now separated under Case Details. Previously, under the Case Details section, you would see Policy Dates which contained details for both Save Age & Policy Dates.
New email communication for amended/revised applications
When a client’s policy has been approved with an amendment or revision, an email will be sent notifying the advisor that their client’s signature is required. Without the signature, the application will wait in an Approved status, without an offer being made.
