1 After expiration of the grace period, any producer that has not met the training requirement may not solicit or sell annuities until they complete the new 4-hour training or can show they are otherwise compliant via nonresident reciprocity rules. 2 Arkansas’ grace period applies to all producers. Beginning January 1, 2022, any producer that has not met the training requirement may not solicit or sell annuities until they complete the 4-hour training. 3 North Carolina has approved the rule by regulation but has not released the final rule or effective dates at this time. Athene is monitoring and will provide a more comprehensive update in the coming days. 4 New producers licensed on or after June 20, 2022, have until the end of the producer’s first license period to complete the training requirements. |
