FL Suitability Form and PCWs are Changing Effective 01/01/02024
Currently, Florida requires a state specific suitability form and product comparison worksheets (PCWs). Beginning January 1, Athene will discontinue the Florida specific versions and you’ll be able to use our national suitability form and PCWs, available for most states.
Some additional changes in Florida will include:
- Removal of the 10-day signature rule
- Athene will now be able to take certain suitability requirements over the phone (please refer to Color-Coded Suitability Form and PCWs for details)
Important processing dates
Applications with outdated or missing suitability forms or PCWs received after 3 p.m. CT on December 31, 2023, will be considered “not in good order.” Be sure to use up-to-date materials when offering Athene annuities.
