Athene Ascent Pro 10 Enhancements Effective 08/10/2024
Athene Ascent Pro 10 Bonus Fixed Indexed Annuity features:
- Premium Bonus increase. The Premium Bonus1 is increasing from 3% to 10%!
- Increased roll-up rate. The 10% simple interest rate for deferral years 1-10 is now extended to years 11-20.
- New Accelerated Income option allows clients to take a higher income amount early in retirement.
- Greater Enhanced Income Benefit flexibility. The Enhanced Income Benefit2 eligibility has expanded. Clients can now qualify based on care facility confinement or an Activities of Daily Living requirement.
- Simplified income rider growth. Ascent Pro 10 Bonus now only offers a guaranteed income rider growth option.
- Payout rate flexibility. Income rider payout rates are now based on issue age and years of deferral, rather than just attained age.
- Streamlined payout options. The seldom used Inflation Adjusted payout option is no longer available.
