The Athene Ascent Pro Bonus fixed indexed annuity (FIA) enhancements have been approved in Maryland and Virginia.

Please note: The minimum issue age has increased to age 50 in MD.

Training: If you previously completed Ascent Pro Bonus training, no additional training will be required to sell the enhanced products.

Important processing dates

Applications signed on or before October 25, 2024, will receive the existing Ascent Pro product — even for contracts issued after this date.
All applications signed on or after October 26, 2024, will receive the enhanced product. Be sure to use the revised Ascent Pro application packet which includes updated forms. The new application packets will be available on Athene Connect beginning October 26.
