SECURE 2.0 – Key Points Impacting Annuities

SECURE 2.0 was signed into law as part of the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023” in late December. This sweeping legislation has many important provisions that will impact employer-sponsored plans and IRAs. Because this law passed in late December, the industry is still reviewing and interpreting some of the provisions.
