Rate Adjustments on the AssetShield Series Effective 07/19/23

Rate Adjustments on AssetShield Series Strategies

We will be adjusting rates on several AssetShield series strategies (which includes AssetShield BONUS), effective Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Many rates will increase, including those on our fixed interest strategy and several index-linked crediting strategies. Rates on our S&P 500^® annual point-to-point with cap will decrease. 

For clients to qualify for the current rates, applications along with cash or 1035/Transfer paperwork must be received by 4:45 p.m. CST on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, and transfer funds must be received by 1:00 p.m. CST on Friday, August 18, 2023. Pending AssetShield series applications received on or before Tuesday, July 18th and issued between Wednesday, July 19th and Friday, August 18th will enter a 1-Year Rate Lock period. The contracts will be issued with current rates, and will renew with other contracts issued after August 18, 2023. It is reasonable to expect that your first S&P 500 ^® annual point-to-point with cap strategy will decrease at the first contract anniversary.
