Update to Symetra appointment process

For appointment requests not immediately tied to a specific sale, producers will now be placed in a “just-in-time” (JIT) appointment status.*

No impact on business submission

  • This change will not hinder producers from submitting business through our EOE (electronic order entry) platforms, including SwiftTerm platforms.
  • Producers will be able to submit drop tickets with a JIT appointment status.
  • Please note, both the producer and agency must hold active insurance licenses to proceed. If not, you will be unable to submit a drop ticket until both are licensed.
