Sharing Your Access Is Easy

At Securian Financial we’re always looking for ways to help support your business. With our new access sharing feature on our financial professional website, you can now grant access for assistants to view client accounts and update their addresses.

Assistants must be self-registered on the site with their business email address before they can be granted access. Once they are registered, you can log in to advisor.securian.com and follow the below steps to share access:

  1. Click “access sharing” under your profile (located in the top right corner under your name)
  2. Click the “new access request” option
  3. Enter the assistant’s information and click continue.

Once completed, in most cases your assistants will have immediate viewing access to accounts, along with address change functionality until access is revoked by the financial professional or either party is terminated.
