New forms, improved processes and other important news!

Athene forms update

Effective February 24, 2024

We’re updating several forms in certain states, including…

  • Certificates or Disclosure (CODs)
  • Index Strategy Disclosure and Allocation forms

Affected products include:

  • Athene AgilitySM 7
  • Athene AgilitySM 10
  • Athene AscentSM Pro 10 Bonus
  • Athene Performance Elite® 7
  • Athene Performance Elite® 10

All updated forms will be available on Athene Connect by end of day February 23, 2024, and should be used immediately.

  • Applications signed and dated on or before February 23, 2024, and received before March 25, 2024, will require the existing forms. Applications with outdated or missing forms received after market close (3 p.m. CT) on March 25, 2024, will be considered “not in good order.”
  • Applications signed and dated after February 23, 2024, will require the updated forms.

Be sure to use up-to-date materials when offering Athene annuities.

Athene Performance Elite® (PE) updates for Louisiana

Effective February 24, 2024

PE 15 discontinued in LA
We’re discontinuing the PE 15 and PE 15 Plus products in Louisiana. All other durations will remain available.

PE 7 and 10 Premium Bonus’ are changing in LA
The Premium Bonus, Withdrawal Charge and Premium Bonus vesting schedules for the PE 7 Plus, PE 10 and PE 10 Plus products are also being updated.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML): 

FinCEN employee scam: FinCEN has been receiving calls and reports of financial scam attempts. If you receive an unsolicited communication from someone via phone, text, or email claiming to be an employee of FinCEN, it is a scam. Do not respond. To report a scam utilizing Treasury Bureau seals and/or employees, please visit the Treasury’s Office of Inspector General website
