Producer authorized contract changes are here!

We’re pleased to introduce a new process that allows clients to authorize certain producers and support staff to make specific contract changes on their behalf.* Producer-authorized transactions include: 

  • Strategy changes
  • Lock-In requests
  • Income Rider extensions
  • And more!

Client consent is required prior to initiating transactions. To help you better understand this new process, we’ve created a Producer Authorization FAQ (24368).  

*Authorization must be pre-approved by your organization. Contracts owned by non-person entities are not eligible.

Staff audits begin in 2024

To help ensure data security, we’ll require annual staff audits beginning in 2024. You’ll receive an email notification and portal prompt 30 days prior to your audit deadline. If no action is taken within 30 days, your delegated staff will lose access to Athene Connect.

Minnesota Financial Planner Disclosure Form

Minnesota Administrative Rule 2790.0550 states that no producer may represent themselves as a financial planner unless they provide written disclosure to their client. To help you to comply with this rule, we’ve provided a Minnesota Financial Planner Disclosure form (25184, Ver. 08/21), available on Athene Connect.

Prohibited actions: Twisting and Churning
