Year-End Processing Deadlines and Holiday Closures
Year-end is fast approaching! We’re here to help you meet your annual production goals. To ensure your business is processed as quickly as possible, please note these important year-end dates and deadlines.
Year-end processing deadlines and holiday closures:

| Wednesday, December 15 | Withdrawal requests (including RMDs) must be received in good order to be processed prior to year-end. | ||
| Monday, December 20 | Producers submitting business must be properly licensed, fully contracted and appointed with Athene for business to be processed prior to year-end. This includes the completion of all required compliance training. | ||
| Wednesday, December 22 | New business will be issued prior to year-end if the following items are received in good order: Annuity applications with cash Outstanding requirements for applications with cash Transfer/1035 funds Additional payments for flexible premium contracts must be received to be applied in 2021. New business or additional payments for flexible premium contracts received after December 20 will be processed in the order received and may not be processed prior to year-end. | ||

Holiday commission payment schedule:
| Wednesday, November 24 | Commissions for business issued on November 24 will be released from Athene on November 29. Depending on your bank, funds may be available in your account on November 30. | ||
| Thursday, December 23 | Commissions for business issued on December 23 will be released from Athene on December 28. Depending on your bank, funds may be available in your account on December 29. | ||
| Friday, December 31 | Last commission cycle for 2021. This commission will be reflected on the 2021 1099. Commission ACH and check minimums will be dropped to $0 to pay out all pending commission balances for 2021. Commission for all business issued and paid on December 31 will be released from Athene on January 4. Depending on your bank, funds may be available in your account on January 5. Please note: Commission minimums will return to $50 for ACH and $600 for checks starting January 1, 2022. | ||
