Revised PruLife IAUL Supplement (VA) – Effective 06/14/21

Effective Monday, June 14, 2021, the PruLife Index Advantage UL Disclosure (ORD 115640-2020) and PruLife Index Advantage UL Supplement (ORD 96200-2020 IUL VA) will be updated to support the Index Advantage Universal Life product revision in the state of Virginia. The S&P 500® Indexed Account with Multiplier option will  no longer be available with this product and has been removed. This revision first implemented in other states in August 2020.

Revised PruLife Index Advantage UL Disclosure
The PruLife Index Advantage UL Disclosure form (ORD 115640) has been updated as follows. These changes apply to the generic, interstate compact, and state-specific forms.

• The S&P 500® Indexed Account with Multiplier option has been removed from page 1, section 1.
• The forms will carry a revision date of 2020.

Revised PruLife Index Advantage UL Supplement
The PruLife Index Advantage UL Supplement form (ORD 96200-2020 VA IUL) has been implemented in the state of Virginia.

• In section D. Maturing Index Segment Allocation Instructions (Optional), the Request for Transfer/Allocation  Change form (ORD 115267) has been updated to Request for Transfer/Change of Allocations Instructions  (ORD 115804).
• The Fraud Warning was added on page 2 under section E.
• The form will carry a revision date of 2020.

Effective Monday, June 14, 2021, the PruLife IAUL Supplement (ORD 96200-2020 IUL VA) is required for all New Business applications for the IAUL product in Virginia with a Part 1 date of June 14, 2021, and later. The previous form will continue to be accepted through July 4, 2021, with applications for old rates only. Beginning July 5, 2021, the old form will no longer be accepted.
