New and Improved Product Applications Coming 06/14/21

We’re rolling out new and improved applications for all Athene deferred annuity products. These new applications are designed to:

• Improve customer experience
• Better support owner-driven products
• Coordinate with our e-delivery enrollment process

At the same time, we’re updating the suitability section in Firelight. This enhancement will allow you to run a validation that will alert you when additional suitability review may be required.

While most applications will keep their current form number, the following applications will receive a new one:

Important dates to remember

The new applications (Ver. 07/20) will be available on the Forms and Materials page after 4 p.m. CT on June 11, 2021, and should be used immediately. Older applications with outdated or missing forms received after market close (3 p.m. CT) on July 2, 2021 will be considered “not in good order.” Be sure to use up-to-date materials when offering Athene annuities.

Please note: Electronic applications initiated prior to, but not yet e-signed by market close (3 p.m. CT) on July 2, 2021 will require the new applications.
