New Cost of Care Tool

Our new “Cost of Care” tool has some exciting and useful features:

• Costs of care from a both a state and national perspective.  The details button breaks it out into the costs of 4  different settings; Informal Care, Home Care, Assisted Living, and Nursing Home.
• If a state is selected, you can see the cost at the state’s overall average or break it down by a metro area/city.  Even compare two different states/metro areas.
• There is also a future cost predictor of what the expenditures will be in 10, 20, and 30 years, and you can slide the tool to find the years in between as well (ex. in 8, 14, 23 years).  This predictor is based on annually adjusted algorithms, imperative in projecting future personalized LTC costs.
